Serfaus ski school
The ski school was voted best ski school by "Skiarea" in 2004 with all 5 snow crystals for the first time. It offers different lessons:
Alpine skiing for adults
These group classes are being offered from Sundays until Fridays. Meeting point for the adult lessons is at 10 am in front of the ski school office Komperdell 200m.
Alpine skiing for children and teenagers
Small children are taken care of by specially trained supervisors. Each child may decide on its own if it would rather just play in the snow or learn how to ski. This section is a fun introduction for the youngest skiers. For those who are a little older we offer the "Kinderschneealm" in Serfaus, an area only for children to learn how to ski. Group classes for children are being offered at different levels of difficulty. The all-day classes (4 hours) are given daily from 10.30am until 12.30pm and from 1.45pm until 3.45pm. Meeting point is the intermediate station at the Komperdellbahn lift.
Snowboarding
All snowboarding classes by the ski school Serfaus start either on Sundays or Wednesdays. Meeting point for separating into groups is at the intermediate station at the Komperdell.
Telemarking
This special driving technique was developed in the south of Norway. Serfaus ski school´s ski teachers will be glad to assist you picking up this winter sports fun.
Skiing routes
The Tirolean mountains all around the Serfaus-Fiss-Ladis region offer a large number of beautiful skiing routes. Please bring the right equipment, most important of all the correct skis and a backpack, appropriate skiing clothes, a hat, gloves, sun protection, snow glasses and an additional undershirt. In addition to that we recommend an avalanche shovel, an avalanche beacon, an avalanche probe, an ABS backpack and a cellular phone. As a snack/lunch, please bring something warm to drink (tea in a thermos jug, at least 1 liter), sandwiches, cereal bar etc. Special tours for those interested are being offered on Thursdays and Fridays. Cross-country skiing
The Serfaus-Fiss-Ladis plateau offers 135 km of cross-country ski runs. You are welcome to join a lesson. These are offered in the afternoon from Sundays until Fridays.
Snowshoeing
The snowbound mountains can be experienced with traditional snowshoes, organised in groups by our skiing guides
